Welcome to November (but were still catching up on October)

October flew by way too fast and here's why:
Lillie has been going faster and faster and we have to keep up. We recently went to an awesome place called Cox Family Farms in Reston, VA and it was the coolest place. A great family fun Fall Festival with all kinds of stuff to do. Here are some pictures.Although the sign says baby piglets in the next pic, that is obviously a hug pig right behind us and not the babies. Lillie loved the piggies and she loves to oink at them.
Lillie also loved the cows and enjoyed petting them and mooing at them.
We made it onto the "hay ride", which was one of the coolest I have ever seen. They took us all over the farm with huge cutouts of cartoon characters and halloween decorations, with ghosts, a graveyard, a haunted house with witches, the lock ness monster next to us as we were pulled through four feet of water, and yes, even shrek and spongebob made an appearance. Lillie was a little scared at first, but then started getting excited when she saw some stuff she recognized and enjoyed.

We couldn't resist getting Lillie's pic in front of Blue from Blue's Clues, seeing how Lillie watches it almost every day now at least once. That is one of her favorite shows.
There was a huge slide, that even mommy and daddy could go on and we had a blast. Lillie already loved slides, and to go on such a huge one with mommy and daddy was super fun for us all. Here's a series of three pics as Lillie and I came down the slide to meet mommy at the bottom. There was an area where a ton of goats are running around and everyone can come in and pet them and feed them. Lillie was way too excited and loved it way too much. She would pick a goat and then follow it around until it got too annoyed and ran off. Then she would pick another one and do the same thing. We loved watching her enjoy herself. One of them even got a little upset and started butting her with its horns. Luckily it wasn't too hard and we took her to a nicer goat after that.

Besides that stuff, Elmo has crept into our home and Lillie has videos and elmo dolls that she enjoys all the time. I'm not sure why we got this picture, but you can say I'm wierd if you want.

Lillie has also learned to eat like a "monster". She will roar like one, then growl and stick some food in her mouth. Sometimes, if she's not eating, she'll just run around roaring and trying to eat my legs. She has gotten me a couple times when I didn't expect it. And she is also not like any typical kid, we think. She would rather eat broccoli with ranch and other healthy things than something sweet, like candy. She doesn't get that from me! Here's her monster face, and a little smile as she eats her broccoli.
