First Snow Fun!

"I can't put my arms down"
LLillie got all bundled up so we could go out in the first snow storm of the year and make our own snowman. Here's what it looked like outside our back door after a couple hours of already snowing. Here we are starting the base of our snowman. Shortly after this Lillie joined in pushing the giant snowball. Her glove got caught in the ball and got rolled up in the snow. Mom and Dad didn't realize it, but Lillie started yelling "Glove, glove, glove!" over and over.
Finally after rolling the ball to twice its size, we realized what she was saying and had to break our ball up and search around inside the snow. Here is our broken snow ball and we eventually found the frozen, muddy glove in the pile of snow. I guess it's hard for a 2 year old to keep her mommy's gloves on. We later went out and bought her a new pair of her own gloves.
It took us a little while to get everything together, especially since the snowman's body was huge and hard to pick up. Lillie had a great time helping out.
We used rocks for the eyes, mouth and buttons, a carrot for the nose and tree branches and bushes for a hat and scarf. An all organic/all natural snowman.

Now, every time we wake up or go outside, Lillie has wave to Mr. Snowman. We can see him across the parking lot from her window. She loves him!
