Before Anna and Lillie left for Utah on Dec 11th, we did our own little family Christmas so we could be at home and open our presents. Here are some pictures from the day before and the day of their departure.

Here we are as Lillie opened her presents. We didn't get me or Anna but we still enjoyed opening some presents.
After doing a short and small little Christmas together before going to Utah and then experiencing a bigger more hectic Christmas in Utah, we have decided to start our own family traditions next year and not travel anywhere for the holidays. Also, the whole travelling experience during the winter holidays is way too crazy and will be even harder next year with another baby. So, with all said and done, we will be having a little Christmas together next year in our own home. We loved spending time with family in Utah and Idaho, but next year will be different.
