End of OB/GYN, on to PEDS

Last weekend Mike finished his OB/GYN rotation and we had a lot of fun.

First, Mom and Dad took a trip to the temple. This doesn't happen quite as often as we would like these days but with a session ending up being a 4-5 hour adventure (mostly because of traffic) and having a baby, we do what we can. It was such a great experience. Thanks again Gray family for watching Sam and Lillie. Sarah Gray took some really cute pictures of our kids while they were there. I wish I would have taken a little more time to make them more picture-friendly Thanks again.

Then we had a fun filled afternoon of painting pumpkins. We think Lillie's is the coolest she painted the "eyes, nose, mouth, and ears" then asked mommy to put black around them. It really turned out to be a little modern art piece.

The finished products...

Then to top off our day we took advantage of our new gym membership and went to the pool. We didn't know that they we're having it but the pool was having a little Halloween party; they had the lights dimmed and they where playing Monsters Inc on a movie projector, had bouquets of balloons around the edges and had little glow in the dark necklesses and bracelets.

Sam had a blast splashing in the water.

We had so much fun; now on to Peds for the next 2 months.

I can't believe how big Sam is. And how perfectly red his hair is. XOXO
