We heard about this park near the airport a while ago and finally got the chance to check it out this week with Mike on vacation. As planes land and take off shortly across the water canal, we walked around the dock and park and ooed and awed each time a plane flew lowly over our heads.
It began raining lightly a few times while we were there, but we just recently bought some new umbrellas and Lillie was very excited to use them. She couldn't leave the store without the rainbow umbrella, and she was excited to be in her little bubble umbrella, too.
As you can see below, the planes were right over head.
Sam just loved running around on the docks and in the park. He LOVES the outdoors! He truly is an outdoor child. If it were up to him, we would always be outside. He loves to run when he has the space and it's such a joy to watch his little legs waddle along.
Lillie came across a shell and said "look! it's for my collection!" (she didn't have a collection, until now) She found about 4-5 other shells and began her shell collection.
We have had several other outings with Daddy being at home this week and have loved having him around for this whole week.
