Good friends Braden and Brielle

Lillie made a new friend back in January that is just a few months older then her. This friend could pump herself on the swing. My dear miss Lillie took it as a challenge and any moment she got would practice and practice. Here she is showing off her skills. 

 Coloring eggs as a family Saturday before Easter.

Made yummy shakes, a loved tradition in our family.

On Saturday before Easter we had a family Easter egg hunt in the grassy area near our home.

Then we climbed some trees. Lillie loves climbing trees. Sammy needs a little help though.

Then the kitty joined us. He's an expert tree climber and loves to be around us, so he followed the kids up.

After that we headed into DC
We saw a few things for the 100th anniversary of the National Cherry Blossom Festival

Then we headed to this fun new exhibit at the National Museum of American History.

Dad and the kids got to play some classic Super Mario Bros 3 on a big screen. Mike as all ways wanted to play this on a big screen in front of a crowd since her was a kids and watch the movie "The Wizard" on TV. There where a lot of people there watching and Mike made if further then anyone in the 5 minute time frame the program let you play before it stopped. Good job Mike.

Outside the display was a very unique fountain on the ground that the kids decided to run through. They got soaking wet, but had an amazing time. Don't worry, the fountain was meant to be walked through.

The Easter bunny came and left a message of Christ on Easter morning then he hid our baskets. 

The kids had a fun time finding there baskets and a great time eating their candy.

When we decided to eat the eggs we had colored the day before, Sammy insisted on wanting to break his open with his feet, so here is Mike helping him to not make a huge mess.

Lillie thought they were very yummy. Lillie btw all ways has to get dressed first thing in the morning that is why she is in her Easter dress when the rest of us are still in our PJs and her hair is not quit Easter dress ready.

Both the kids looked to cute for Easter Sunday after we finally got ready for church but sadly I didn't get any pictures. It was a great time and we where so blessed to have Mike around for all these fun times.
