Sam LOVES orange. Possibly more than Lillie loves pink, if such a thing is possible. Every time he paints, colors, dresses, etc, it is all orange. The time signature on all these pictures are incorrect, by the way.
I find it funny that my kids sometimes choose to watch a show on dad's ipad instead of on the TV just because they can. what silly children. The blanket behind them holds their very tired daddy's feet.
At school Lillie celebrated the Chinese/Tet New Year she come back from school being able to say happy new year in Chinese. There is a very large Asian population in the area and there were many festivals. In the middle of the night on Feb 9th there was a fun firework show in the park just down the road from us. Sam was already in bed but Mike, Lillie, and I went out in the back yard and watched them. Then Lillie yelled into the air "Happy New Year" in Chinese. I love the diversity we all get to experience in this area.
We also got a wonderful quilt that Mike's sister made for us. We love it. We designed and picked out the patterns yourself and she put it all together.
