Easter at Atlantis Park Garden Grove 2013

There is an awesome park close to our house called Atlantis Park. This year we choose to go to it for our Easter egg hunt.

In this picture you can see some hats I made for the kids. They are made out of paper plates. A news team covering the event thought they were so fun she came and filmed the kids for a minute. I don't know if they will end up on TV but it made me feel proud.
They had all the kids come into this big fenced off area and they couldn't have their parents with them. Poor Sam had know idea what he was doing, we probably should have done some practice with him before hand. As soon as they let the kids go Sam was just so excited to play on the slide, that was in the middle, he didn't even get a single egg. 3 year olds are funny. After all was said and done we went to the people in charge and they had some eggs stashed away for such an occasion, so he did get to take home 10.

They had face painting there and crafts

The kids enjoyed some "carnival" style games.
Lillie's turn... She is such a stickler for the rules they said she could only get 10, we told her it doesn't matter, but she did what she was told. Then she walked around forever looking for the Golden Egg. She was so disappointed she didn't find it. Maybe next time...

We got to meet the Easter bunny.
And we can't forget the bounce houses.

Here's to more fun events at Atlantis Park.
