8 days til Christmas...3 exams to go

I finished two exams today and it felt great. There are three more exams left before I can party! Lillie is still adorable, so let's enjoy some more of her smartness. She loves to "read" books. She can sit for really long periods of time and flip through a big pile of books while pointing at the pages as if she were reading like mom and dad. Our bedtime ritual involves reading a book together and pointing at the words on the pages, so she has picked up how to do it. She really likes it and could do it for hours.

She has also learned how to crawl up onto things and pull herself to climb. The high chair we have can adjust its height and we left it down low the other day. She walked up to it and climbed in all by herself. I guess she wanted to eat or something. She is really picking up on a lot of stuff and does well with copying us. Except for making sounds. She hasn't quite figured out correct noises to mimmick us correctly. She has gotten close to "ho ho ho" when she says "hei hei hei" That's about it though for now. She'll get there.
