Since we are finished here until the beginning of January, we are headed to California. The next time you hear from us will probably be when we get back. We will have seen the hoods of Sactown, the hills of San Francisco, and the happiness of Disneyland. We will have seen all of my brothers and sisters that are still living, along with their significant others and children. Lillie will have met her Gardner/Dowdrick/Spaulding cousins, many whom she has never met. We will have wolfed down some waffles and ice cream on Christmas morning and eaten home-made donuts on Christmas Eve. We will have played Wii and gone on rides screaming "Weeeeee!" We will have basked in the sun (or rain) of beautiful California and enjoyed every moment of it because I have finished my first semester of med school! Yippy!
Oh yeah, and Lillie had some varicella vaccine shots and got some cute little chicken pox spots to go with them...Here's a picture if you can see them on her skin, roughly superficial to her left trapezius muscle (innervated by Cranial Nerve 11 - Spinal Accessory Nerve, by the way.)
