Starting with an early day for Mike on Saturday, we went to a local carnival with the kids. Sammy seemed to love the little dragon roller coaster, even though his face didn't really show it in the pictures.
Then, on Memorial Day, we decided to take the kids to a water park in Germantown, MD. It has been in the 90's recently and is supposed to be pretty similar for the next few days. It was a gorgeous day, sunny and warm, not a cloud in the sky.
It took a while for Sammy to warm up to the water fountains. He just cried at first, then settled down and was excited to play in the water. He is so adorable. He is the cutest red-head we have ever known!
We told Lillie to smile for the camera and she decided to do a funny little pose next to one of the fountains, in the process of trying to sit on it. She is such a goof ball sometimes. We love her so much!
They loved playing with Mommy and Daddy in the fountains.
A memorable Memorial Day after all.
