A few fun things in March

Lillie, Sam, and I made this road for Sam out of cardboard and craft paint. He loves it and plays with this all the time now.

We also took the bottom out of this box and he pretends its a car and runs up and down his road.
Both the kids climbed up on my lap one day while we were watching TV.
There was a week in March where it was in the 80s everyday. The kids had me brake out the pool and the swimming suits.

The Barnum and Baley's circus came to town. They do a little parade through DC every year when they arrive. We made it just in time to see the elephants walk by along with all the other circus stuff.

Here are the horses, sorry it's hard to see, but that is also the Capitol building in the back, too.
The people in the parade handed out light-up necklaces and funny clown noses.

It was a lot of fun and the kids really liked it. The only problem was it was at 8pm and our kids were so tired on the way home. Here is Sammy sleeping on the way home.
