Random things in July 2012

We had a fun July with Aunt Emily. We went swimming in the pool almost every day in our pool outside. We made a few trips to the beach and had a lot of fun.

Emily and I saw this and wanted to try it out. It was awesome.
I love this boy.
We made it to the beach a few times it was so fun and the kids loved it, we are only 20 minutes away and we love it.
We got to go to the OC fair and had a lot of fun on the rides.
We also found a kid zone with Legos  and other fun things.

The kids loved the carousel.
Emily brought her long board with her to our house. The kids had a good time taking rides with her. As you can see she does not have her shoes on. She ended up taking all the skin off her toes. It doesn't make any difference to her though. She loves that thing and has had many accidents on it but she still keeps with it. Just glad she didn't have one while taking the kids on rides.

We spent a lot of time in the pool

Emily had fun taking some pictures of the kids.

Emily loves our cat; he looks a lot like her own cat. He is a sweety and we love him too.
I asked my random teenager sister what kind of things she wanted to do while she was here with us. one of the things she wanted to do was make a cake and shove it into her face. Teenagers are so silly.
Emily and Lillie shared a room and they had a lot of fun together.

Emily took these pictures too. Emily is a bit of a tomboy and Sam and Em had the best time pretending to fight each other, wrestling in the grass, running around after each other and other rough and tough things together. After we took Emily home after the summer Sam dearly missed Emily and cried for her a few times a week. Got to be honest I did too we love having her around.

We have an Ice Cream truck that stops right in front of our house every day. The kids love to stand at the front door and watch as it passes. We decided that we will get them an ice cream once a month and on special occasion.
Our sweet neighbors from across the street invited us to their one year old's first birthday. They went all out with a huge bouncy castle and face painting.

Of course my little Sammy wanted a Spider-Man face painting then he ran across the street to put on his costume. Then came back. He fell in love with this costume this summer and wore it any chance he got.
Lillie ended up getting a butterfly.
We have this great great park about a 10 minute walk from our house. It is call Atlantis Park. It has lots of fun little play areas including a little splash park. Here are the kids on the statue of King Trident.

I just love this picture of Emily cuddling with the kids.
Just a fun picture of my Sammy. Not much else to say.
We did a lot of fun work outs while Emily was here and the kids got into the spirit of it.

Lillie pretending this pillow is a birthday cake. I thought it was fun.
We also watched a lot of Spider-Man.

All in all we had a great July. We are so grateful we could share it with Aunt Emily. Mike got into the swing of things with working. We got to know our neighborhood a little more, we all got a great tan and we enjoyed our pool and little back yard as much as we could.
