Visiting Family July 2012

Uncle Aaron and Lillie. This was Aaron's last 4th of July were he gets to play his bagpipes, as next year he will likely be gone on a mission. I love that he is a nerdy bagpiper it is so awesome.
Aaron turned 18 while we were there. I still remember cuddling up with him when he was a little boy. I can't believe how old he is and I wonder how fast my own children will grow if he has grown this fast.
Sam very much enjoyed Aaron's birthday cake as you can see.
My mom really wanted a picture of My Lillie in front of her lilies.

We also celebrated my mom's 61st birthday.

Sam partied a little hard and crashed.
My dad spent a lot of our visit camping with the scouts. It is something he really enjoys.
Violet stayed at grandma's house after the 4th for a few days and Lillie really loved playing with her. They get along so swimmingly. We brought her back home before either Aaron or Grandma's birthday.
We visited at Andrew and Tami's house for a little while. Sam and Lillie love spending time with cousins. We went to the park and all the kids had a great time climbing on Mike.
Sam is so cool with Mom's glasses.
While we were in Utah Emily went off to Youth Conference. We picked her up after and brought her back to Cali.
We made a quick trip up to Idaho to visit my brother Spencer and his family. Lillie and Sam had a great time with Brynlee and Jace.

This Spider-Man costume is Sam's He wore it through most of the summer and he was so in love with this Spider-Man mask of Jace's.

It was also so much fun to visit because they have a brand new baby girl Marlee. What a wonderful little spirit to be around.
We also stopped by and visited Mike's brother Ed in Idaho Falls. He took us by the IF temple to go fishing.
This was our kids first time fishing. We didn't catch any fish but a goose did get tangled up in our fishing wire and we had to cut it loose.

What a lovely temple on the water.
We also had a great stop at my sister Liz's house for a dinner but this is the only picture we got. These are the two red haired boy cousins.
