July "4th" in Cali

We kind of had two 4th of July's. Mike had to work on the actual 4th so we lit off some fireworks on our street on July 2nd. My little sister Emily was with us. It was a small celebration but we had fun.

Here are the kids watching the wonder of the fireworks.

After we were all done with the fireworks we decided to have some s'mores. We roasted some marshmallows on our gas fire place.

Our house was a bit of a work in progress at this point.

After the kids had their fill of s'mores they decided to make some funny faces for the camera.

The next morning the kids, Emily, and I packed up and headed of to Utah for a week. Mike flew out a few days after we got there, we got an incredible deal on a ticket. We missed him very much though on the actual 4th but we enjoyed the Myers family celebration in Utah.
